Abstract

Abstract: The audience for Youth and Adult Education is primarily made up of young people, adults and elderly people who work, therefore, the challenge for teaching staff and management is to align curricular perspectives with the knowledge of these social actors. The general objective of this article is to analyze the curriculum and teaching material used in Youth and Adult Education in a municipal school in Salvador, Bahia. This is a qualitative research of an ethnographic nature, using the documentary analysis method. 21 observation visits were carried out in the EJA I, Learning Time III (TAP III) class. The official documents used as guidelines in the literacy process of EJA social actors in Salvador were the Knowledge in EJA I: Learning Time III, the Curricular Proposal for the 1st segment and the Curricular Proposal for the 2nd segment. Author Biographies

Ana Bárbara Assunção Vazquez Correa, Fundação Renascer
Pedagogue at Fundação Renascer in the State of Sergipe working in the area of social inclusion, where she works with Youth and Adult Education in socio-educational measures (semi-freedom), through the management of pedagogical actions for teenagers. Master in Science and Mathematics Teaching from the Federal University of Sergipe (2016) and Pedagogue with a Full Degree from the Federal University of Sergipe (2010). She is a member of the GPEMS Research Group - Education and Social Movements Research Group, carrying out research mainly on issues such as socio-education, education in the socio-educational context, teachers in socio-education. She seeks to know and get involved mainly with topics related to Youth and Adult Education, Education in socio-education, schooling of young people in compliance with measures, Relationship with school knowledge, teacher training, pedagogical practice and intersectionality. She intends to focus her professional skills on activities involving the field of teaching, research and extension.
Raquel Aparecida Lopes, Docente do Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (INSPER).
PhD and master's degree in Developmental Disorders from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie/SP (interdisciplinary area of knowledge in Education, Psychology and Health). She was a Merit Scholar in the Mack Research Postgraduate Program and a CAPES Scholar. She has a degree in Literature, Pedagogy and Physical Education. Specialization in Brazilian Sign Language and Special Education with an emphasis on Hearing Impairment. She is currently Adjunct Professor A in the higher education career in the area of Special Education / LIBRAS and Education of the Deaf at UFRRJ-Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro. She was a professor at Insper-Institute of Education and Research teaching the subject of Brazilian Sign Language and Inclusion of diversity and disabilities at work. She was a certified teacher at the State Department of Education of São Paulo, working in secondary and elementary schools with deaf and hearing students. She has experience as a teacher, also moving through Research Methodology, Writing and initiation into academic writing-Orientation of Academic Works with an area of expertise in related topics: Teaching Libras-Libras as Communication strategies for deaf autistic people. She has experience in distance education working as an internship teacher in the Pedagogy course.
