2023-04-27T15:58:07-03:00Copyright (c) 2023 Andreza Souza, Nadia Azevedo, Cecília Tavareshttp://ojs.univas.edu.br/index.php/revistadissol/article/view/1086Paper to Screen2025-08-26T21:35:01-03:00Diego Henrique Pereiradiegopereira@univas.edu.brIzadora Graciele Sabiá Silvaizinhagracielle11@gmail.comJuliana Alessandra Gomesju.alessandra@hotmail.com
This research discusses the issue of alternative teaching of classics through film adaptations. The main goal of the research is to understand the functioning of literary works and their cinematic adaptations and the way in which they relate transtextually, and to create didactic-pedagogical opportunities in the classroom. For this purpose, excerpts from two Shakespearean works were analyzed: The Taming of the Shrew and Twelfth Night – in comparison to their cinematographic adaptations: 10 Things I Hate About You and She's the Man –, taking into account factors such as the modifications caused by historical movements, as well as by the different materialities at stake; seeking points of difference and parity in order to understand the process of transtextuality. We used qualitative bibliographic research in order to investigate, through different authors, the relationship between literature, cinema and transtexuality, stressed by the issue of different significant materialities. It is observed that textuality – even in its different material spaces – is not isolated from the world but maintains transtextual relations with several other texts that circulate in the field of knowledge, regardless of their chronological order. It is possible to think about the possibility of rising interest in reading classics, such as the Shakespearean ones, through the movement of (co)relationship between cinema and book, raising provocations about the comparison of the versions published in different media, pointing to a more accurate and critical reading.
2023-04-27T16:17:14-03:00Copyright (c) 2023 Fernanda Surubi Fernandeshttp://ojs.univas.edu.br/index.php/revistadissol/article/view/1064O MATO GROSSO FIGURED IN PAINTINGS AND SCREENS: A DISCURSIVE ANALYSIS2025-08-26T21:34:37-03:00Geovane Aparecido Martinsgeovane-martins@hotmail.com
Inserted in the theoretical perspective of French (PÊCHEUX) and Brazilian (ORLANDI) Discourse Analysis (AD), we propose to understand the effects of meanings produced and materialized in paintings on walls and canvases in/about Mato Grosso, these paintings, which for the most part, are configured as being naif art (free, naive). On a qualitative and interpretative basis, this investigation turns to the categories of dialogism and verb-ideological forces, based on the Bakhtin Circle. Child sexual violence in indigenous communities is investigated based on discursive interactions in focus and analysis of dialogical relationships, through dialogical discourse analysis (DDA). It is concluded that i) danger and ii) the importance of verbo-ideological forces and dialogism are presented to the extent that the discursive arena of British Columbia is a space of identity disputes that reverberate in the field of rights and guarantees.
2023-04-27T16:23:38-03:00Copyright (c) 2023 Letícia Silvahttp://ojs.univas.edu.br/index.php/revistadissol/article/view/1014SCHOOL MANAGEMENT2025-08-26T21:34:12-03:00Luiza da Silva Braidoluizasbraido@gmail.comLiliana Soares Ferreiraanaililferreira@yahoo.com.br
A research whose objective was to analyze the movements of the meanings of school management in fifty-one monographs of a Specialization course in a public institution in Rio Grande do Sul, produced between 2004 and 2019, is systematized. if the Analysis of Movements of Sense (AMS), and, as data production techniques, document analysis and bibliographic research. We elect the theory of discourse analysis, from a French aspect, to situate our work of understanding. In the making of our research, four covers of printed newspapers, specifically photographs and calls, were analyzed, which brought the news about the Decision of the Supreme Court on the arrest in second instance issued in 2019. Our main objective was to verify how the media discourse, through the corpus constructed by us, produces different effects of meaning of/for the decision referred to. Initially we approach the conditions of production of the decision and then proceed to the description and interpretation of the selected corpus. In our journey we also made notes about the modes of production of the media show resulting from the decision. Finally, in a closing effect, we describe some regularities present in the main headlines of the covers in the sense of criticism of the Supreme Court in relation to the decision taken, with omission of the all facts, which ends up stimulating a speech more controversial than necessary for the occasion, thus identifying the media spectacle in the molds defended by Guy Debord.
2023-04-27T16:28:46-03:00Copyright (c) 2023 Malu Maria de Lourdes Mendes Pereirahttp://ojs.univas.edu.br/index.php/revistadissol/article/view/993LITERACY PRACTICES IN A COURSE COMPUTER SCIENCE2025-08-26T21:33:48-03:00Maria Ariane Santos Amaro da Silvamariaariane569@gmail.comElizabeth Maria da Silvaprofessoraelizabethsilva@gmail.com
In this article, the objective is to identify literacy practices, involving writing, in the Computer Science course at a Brazilian federal university, from the perspective of the students of that course. To this end, it is based on literacy studies, particularly academic literacies, and on the concept of literacy practices. Methodologically, it is anchored in the interpretive paradigm, in the qualitative approach and in the ethnographic perspective. The corpus consists of transcription records of semi-structured interviews, carried out with students of the mentioned course, which integrate a database of a broader investigation. The analysis of the research participants' narratives about their academic routine shows two literacy practices resulting from the relationships established by them with the Github website, widely used in their area, namely: (1) Code sharing on Github and (2) Documentation of codes on Github. The identification of these literacy practices signals that, in the investigated course, there is a demand for a specific writing, situated, shared, collective and directed to the target audience.
2023-04-27T16:31:53-03:00Copyright (c) 2023 Maria Ariane Santos Amaro da Silva, Elizabeth Maria da Silvahttp://ojs.univas.edu.br/index.php/revistadissol/article/view/947THE EFFECTS OF SENSE ON COMIC STRIPES: A DECONSTRUCTION OF STEREOTYPES THROUGH HUMOR2025-08-26T21:33:36-03:00Vanessa Nascimento dos Santos de Oliveiravndsdo.mla20@uea.edu.br
This article addresses a reflection on the sign language in the historicity of deafness, bringing this reality to Brazil, with the regulation of the official language of the deaf residents in Brazil, establishing the cultural artifacts of the deaf people, who are within the deaf community that have positively implanted in Brazil in the last decades, demystifying pejorative connotations that try to diminish the deaf users of the language.
